Good-natured swashbuckler has fun story and some of the best European Royalty costumes ever.
This remake of the 1937 popular adventure is mediocre, despite the high-caliber stars
The 1937 version was much livelier.
Solid adventure with sumptuous production values.
This is a fun and exciting swashbuckling adventure movie. It's good.
This version of the classic novel is a little long on sappy love and short on action, and Stewart Granger is his usual smarmy, wooden self. On the plus side, the screen lights up when James Mason's wonderfully machiavelian villain appears, and there's a very lively climactic duel.
