This movie is a cult classic. Patrick Swayze was at his best at kicking butt and taking names. This movie is such a classic that its repeatedly been mentioned in other movies and tv shows.
Silly? Exaggerated? Implausible? Yes. So? Swayze delivers an interesting character that pleases the viewer in a true show of punches, kicks, explosions packed by the sure musical track of Jeff Haley and Michael Kamen. Fun to watch and irresistible to rewatch.
This is almost a perfect movie. It's aged incredibly well.
This movie cured my depression, a twisted tail that denies all expectations going into it. A story with rich action and breathtaking character development that will have you leaving the theater speechless.
"Road House" is a pretty poor film full of cheesy bar violence and nonsensical romance, but fans of Patrick Swayze will find it digestible.
Road House is not a gem, it's a gritty what the hell movie that is entertaining. Expecting the film to be something critically acclaimed is the common error of critics and fans. Swayze was an interesting and quite aspiring in the central role. He adds a level of star power that didn't really need to be there. The film deserved to be a mild box office hit. It was not a poor film, but what it was, was weird and not the traditional action film model. Road House is a guilty film, hands down. Will it hurt the world to be in existence? No. The film has its fans and haters, but I thought this was fun for what it was. 30/10/2019
This movie is an overrated cult classic. It was dumb, boring, and filled with dumb characters who're wiseguys always quickly getting into fights with each other for no reason. The characters are dumb and pretty annoying. It's a lame and forgettable Patrick Swayze film. One of his weakest films.
It doesn't have much plot and there are usually no reasons for the action scenes to happen. The action sorely lacks reasoning and buildup. It's no wonder most critics disliked this movie.
One of my all-time favorite movies.
You will never watch a better, bad movie.
Cheesy but oddly fun. This won't win any academy awards, but you will have fun with this flick.
