Sleeping Beauty has never looked or sounded so good. With an enormous wealth of extras, Disney has fully embraces the capabilities of Blu-ray, and their first classic animated feature release sets the benchmark for all future animated releases.

It's always cool to spend time with Sleeping Beauty, but without a game that allows you to determine if you're more like Aurora or Maleficent, this Platinum Edition package falls just shy of definitive.

The care that the Disney craftsmen put into this feature is retained on the DVD. The two-disc set offers the movie in pristine widescreen and full-screen formats in which the colors jump out at you.
