See more 09/23/2014 Earlish Michael Keaton starring role as hockey star Bobby "the Hornet" Barbato of the Chicago Eagles who ends up in an unlikely romance with the mother of the tween-aged boy who tried to mug him along with some older hoodlums. Frankly the youngster is disobedient and foul mouthed and doesn't present much of a sympathetic figure needed for this film to work. A sports star like the Hornet would never realistically stick around for this dysfunction. See more 04/20/2011 An unlikely connection of hockey player and single mom. Keaton and Alonso are okay but the obnoxious kid leaves this film short-handed and killing off too many penalties. Oldtime LA Kings fans may enjoy one-time King Vic Venasky back on the ice.
