Unheralded classic starring the great Sidney Poiter as a pyschatrist in 1942 forced to treat a young member of the German-American Bund for insomnia and ends up trying to understand what drives that violence and anger in his patiant. Well filmed and well acted (especially from Bobby Darins baby faced Bund member), this is a film that opened a lot of new ground for Hollywood and paved the way for such films as The Silence of the Lambs.

Yet another great Sidney Poitier film! The criminal's mindset was scaring me by the end of the film

There was a lot of trippy imagery and provocative themes explored in this film, with great performances, particularly by Bobby Derrin, who plays a psychotic neo-nazi.

Bobby Darin can act and Poitier gives a good performance like always. Another film about racism with Poitier still makes great points.
