Someone, somewhere gave the keys to the kingdom to director Brian Levant, who's leaden ways with screen comedy are amplified in this unfunny, hyperactive translation of a property that's best served through animation.

Some thirty six screenwriters made sure that the plot of the film is lame, original characters one-dimensional, and many elements of the story, like embezzlement and inter-office politics, totally incomprehensible for the little children.
