Wow. This movie makes Mortal Kombat look like an Academy award winning film.
i just love this movie, it's so much fun to watch. sure it's not an oscar worthy masterpiece, but it's not trying to be. it's funny and entertaining.
i watched this as a kid and remember loving the shit out of it.. 6 stars!!!
I will admit that the cheesy over the top acting, dialogue and "fighting" could be amusing at times but I am not one for the "so bad its good" thing. This is just bad but has enough unintentional laughs to not be completely unwatchable.
Fun, trashy, and a fantastic last performance by Raul Julia, who passed on way too soon.
Blah!! It's not like as a video game
After an hour-and-a-half of incompetent nods to its video game source material shoehorned between lackluster dialogue and campy performances, with barely a punch thrown or hadouken bellowed, it's no wonder if you're left asking: "What's a street fighter?"
failed at just about everything it attempted to do
a sort of unintentional comedy without any good jokes
perhaps watch it if you're a hardcore fan but don't expect much
Bad Acting, great action and enjoyable for both A great 90's actioner that doesn't take itself seriously.
For what this movie is and for its time, it was not that horrible of a movie. This movie definitely screams out the 90's, And a lot better then "The Legend of Chun-Li"
