Movie Info

An up-and-coming baseball player has a fling with a woman who doesn't want it to be a one-night stand. She starts to obsess over him and move into his life until she finally becomes dangerous. This standard "psycho-chick" movie is one of the better of its kind, even though it's awfully hard to take lead Molly Ringwald seriously.

Audience Reviews for Malicious

This is about as far from the sweet and innocent John Hughes characters Molly Ringwald can get. The story is standard Basic Instinct - psychotically unstable woman can't take rejection. Nothing new and not particularly involving. The acting is average, though Ringwald appears to try too hard and didn't really smolder in the seduction scenes (she looked very uncomfortable). Vernon and Kuzyk are wasted here. A so-so entertainment experience.

One of the thousands copycats after [Fatal Attraction]. Still, kinda fairly done overall although it was made in 1995, better than the lame [Swinfan] in 2002 at least.

just when i was talking about 80's stars, molly ringwalds name flew into the conversation so one night watching the tube i came across malicious, not bad at all and molly really plays a good psycho she definatly has the piercing psychotic stare, thats for sure i hope to see more of her in the upcoming years
