Well cast, Ed Harris is usually worth watching. He always puts a lot of effort into his roles. Better than average period detail, especially for a western. Very nicely photographed, good use of location filming (in Utah). It is slowly paced, sometimes it works for the film, but at other times it just seems to drag on needlessly. Overall though, it was reasonably impressive.

would love to live the life of Amy Madigan's character...............except for the cult and death problems!
