Audience Reviews for Joey

Family friendly Australian movie about a boy and a girl trying to reunite a kangaroo joey named you guessed it Joey with its kidnapped parents and break up a illegal kangaroo fighting ring. A great family film that is fun and worth a look.

This movie is bad. The plot is tired. The acting was atrocious. I realize it is a low budget foreign made film, but it should have at least one redeeming quality, right? Not that I could find. The characters were mostly stiff and unlikable. The bad guys were laughable. Even the cute title character couldn't save this stinker.

This Australian family film is cute, but also very predictable. It will entertain the young ones, but most adults will probably be a bit bored. The plot is very familiar.
