A love story, but Spade is way too smug to appear the slightest bit sincere in his scenes with Marceau for it to work at all on that level.

It's only intermittently funny.

A mundane sitcom with feature pretensions, the kind where the comic 'situation' is simply a coat-rack for hanging a rag-tag assortment of inflated sight gags and telegraphed punch lines.

Spade is uncomfortably awkward as a romantic lead -- he's better employed in supporting comic roles.

Spade serves as both star and co-writer of this lame, crass romantic comedy. Most of the jokes he's written fall flat, and his delivery isn't much better.

The toilet humor and There's Something About Mary dog joke retreads lead Lost astray.

Funny for 15 minutes and then fades into mean-spirited cruelty and stupidity.

Nothing but a cynical, astonishingly inept attempt to copy Mary's formula.

A rancid little nothing of a movie!

The whole thing collapses into a tries-too-hard comedy without a distinct identity.

A movie about characters of limited intelligence, who wander through the lonely wastes of ancient and boring formulas.

Will soon be lost on the trash-heap of failed comedies.

The film belongs to the lovely Marceau, who brings a sense of heart and humor to an underwritten part.

Eventually, "Lost and Found" becomes a mellow, romance-lite, comedy with a few good zingers and the heart of a puppy-dog.

Dumb fun, and only occasionally Spade, J.B. Cook and Marc Meeks' screenplay lapses into dumber and dumbest.

This weakly plotted film needed a lot more oomph.

Marceau is bright and charismatic and lights up the screen.

Marceau really makes you appreciate Emily Watson's cello-playing in Hilary & Jackie, although when Sophie wraps her legs around the instrument, you don't so much care about her acting chops.

An inoffensive, eminently forgettable bit of fluff.
