Simply everything fits into place, with Fraser leading a great cast and assuming his role of a modern Indiana Jones, to a villain who you really have to take seriously. [Full review in Spanish]

... the script is almost too tongue-in-cheek for its own good, but Sommers' thrill a minute cliffhanger is a tribute, a parody, and a high energy period adventure all in one.

it's easy to fall back on self-conscious humor. But if, as the author, you have to keep interrupting your story to remind the audience how dumb the material is, what's the point of telling the tale in the first place?
