A legendary but mysterious surgeon pushes the boundaries of medical science in a desperate attempt to save the planet from an unbeatable race of "Super-Humans" in this anime based on the popular manga of the same name by legendary author Tezuka Osamu. Although Black Jack doesn't even have a medical license, his brilliant abilities as a surgeon have earned him limitless wealth in addition to a god-like reputation.
