...Chain of Command contains enough effective action sequences and unexpected surprises to distinguish itself from all the movies of this genre that are perpetually being released.

Audience Reviews for Chain of Command

"Remember your duty, you're sworn to protect the President of the United States. Nah that is some other guy's job....I am on football duty." Some Asian baddies kidnaps the president of USA, a womanizing Roy Scheider and slaughters his body guards. Along with the president the "football" (a briefcase with nuclear launch codes) is also taken. The dissidents however plan not to obtain any kind of ransom but to actually launch US rockets on China who in turn retaliates by launching their missiles on Washington. Ric Young plays the sinister character "Fung" while Michael Biehn (Terminator) plays the rouge agent. The only guy to stand up against the gang is our hero (Patrick Muldoon) who incidentally thinks the President is a scumbag. Will our hero manage to take back control of the football and save millions from a nuclear war?
