Even with a so-called brief run time of 80+ minutes, this film's plot fails to entertain. There is very little in the way of explanation, which leads to plot holes that never get filled. To top it all off, the characters are unlikable, and rather uninteresting on top of that.
The CG is low budget and it is easy to point out. The violence is handled in a cheap manner as well, which is a shame since these end up as the most eventful pieces of the picture.
Since the characters aren't that great, there isn't much to say about the acting. There are worse performances out there, but there sure are better ones as well. Jon Briddell, Erin Coker, and Hayden Byerly make up the leading family and the latter two don't get a chance to do much with their characters. Briddell is mediocre all around. If there is one thing to note here, Aurelia Scheppers is hot.
11/11/11 is not thrilling or horrifying. The lack of details in the story doesn't help and neither does the writing. Is this a recommendable movie? Sorry, but no.
