Movie Info

America's favorite pubescent TV twins head overseas -- again -- for this family oriented teen comedy. The Olsen Twins: When in Rome features Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen as two spunky young women who land a glamorous internship with an entertainment company in the titular Italian capital. When their internship is suddenly canceled on them, however, they're determined to find out why -- and a slew of crazy adventures follows. Romance, intrigue, and fish-out-of-water hilarity ensue.

The Olsens find fun, fashion, and romance in Italy.

One of those films in which neither the cast nor crew seem to trust their potentially engaging premise

I can forgive a lot of low-rent banality when I have to, but I've never seen one iota of creativity or storytelling talent spring from the Olsen camp.

Audience Reviews for When in Rome

oh my god, there is so much wrong with this movie! first off, the two are these mail room interns and then suddenly they are competing with their peers to become assitant to the owner of the fashion company? tell me if that makes sense to you. then they mess up and get fired by their boss, and suddenly their invited to the company owners beach house? WTF then the relationships! happily ever after bitches! and then the character development....wait there was none. this movie was beyond terrible but the charm of the olsen twins somehow makes me want to watch this again, i certaintly won't but thats why this didnt completly fail, because at least they had likable characters

Typical Mary-Kate and Ashley movie, but it wasn't bad. Story was easy enough to follow and it was charming at some points, but I have always enjoyed the Olsen twins to be honest. I guess it's just the old Full House fan in me.

I used to love these twins when I was younger, and I clearly remember loving this movie. Now, I come to realize that it's kind of lame.
