Movie Info

Tony Spiridakas' psychological thriller Noise stars Trish Goff as Joyce Chandler, a newly divorced, recovering alcoholic who rents her own apartment in order to get her life back in order. Her attempts at living a calm existence are hampered by the intrusions of her neighbor Charlotte Bancroft (Ally Sheedy). Charlotte seems an eccentric at first, but Joyce begins to suspect that Charlotte is downright deranged and a threat to the peaceful life she has tried to create.

For those who understand the value of Peace and Quiet, the film should hit a raw nerve.

Audience Reviews for Noise

Any Preconceived notions that this was going to be a good film should be followed by two slaps; one for thinking, and one for watching this steamer.

The film had an interesting premise; Since just about everyone can relate to an unreasonably noisy neighbor. The cast performed well enough and it held my interest. A decent sunday afternoon light thriller.

Goff's performance is of the right tone, just not all the right notes -- which for this movie, is the key.
