I remember seeing this on tv a long time ago. Some parts of were alright I guess. I'll give it 2 1/2 for being watchable, but it was mostly just cheesy and pretentious, especially towards the end. Oh yeah, and do I really need to say it? LOADED with "Mary Sue" wish fulfillment crap.
I have mixed emotions about this 4-hour long movie or mini series. The story was fascinating in that sense that we all love gossip in very rich families and so it was very entertaining. But the sugar, the sweetness, the predictability was awful. Sometimes I just wanted to puke when all these damn clichés were said over and over again. It never stopped. Too much sugar for me!
A story about an american going to Europe with her parents after just getting divorced. She need to start a new life but that is hard on her. She meets an englishman and they fall in love. They are very happy together intil he has to go out in the war. Is a great lovestory. Like Danielle Steele`s stories. :)
