Movie Info

Two formerly inseparable brothers find their close-knit bond violently severed by the horrors of war in this screen adaptation of a William Faulkner tale originally published in a 1942 edition of the Saturday Evening Post. As World War II expands and the United States is inevitably drawn into the heated global conflict, love, loyalty, and duty combine to weave a thought-provoking tale of painful sacrifice and severed family ties.

Two Soldiers is about how one of two brothers is being drafted to fight in WW2 and how the little brother, who is almost 9, wants to go fight with him. This is a very emotional movie with great performances and great directing. This is a powerful film and deserves its Oscar.
