07/18/2021 My father-in-law has great stories from the road as he was a truck driver for many years among other odd jobs in the food industry. One story he loves to tell is how he'd drive up to this little grocery store every morning at 5am and the cashier would have an ice cold Reeces Pieces ready for him... ...He is now a diabetic and blind in one eye and all he has is memories of how great sugar was, even though it effectively crippled him. Even my own Father hints he'll get suicidal if he gets diabetes and can't enjoy sugary foods since he can't get it up anymore. What's a man to live for if he can't enjoy sugar in all its forms? The Pandemic has been especially hard on diabetics as 40% of the deaths are diabetes-related. As a fellow American/sugar-lover, be mindful of the most addictive substance killing US all, as it is a very sweet murderer. See more 08/24/2013 Strikingly insetting nightmarish visions serve as narrative in this unconventional movie. They are realized extremely well and are reminiscent of David Lynch's work. I only wish there was some resemblance of a story to go along with the visuals.
