Movie Info

A young woman who has recently suffered a terrible trauma is faced with a frightening supernatural entity in this haunting shocker that is based on actual events. Beaten nearly to the point of death by a barbaric drug dealer, Por awakens in a hospital bed to find that she is currently in the process of giving birth. As the confused woman struggles to make sense of her perplexing situation, the disembodied voice of a young child rings out through the hallways of the hospital and a mysterious woman begins to appear before her at frighteningly regular intervals. As the smell of death thickens in the air and danger lingers around every corner, Por becomes trapped in a surreal realm between reality and illusion that soon leads to one of the most terrifying experiences of her life. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Audience Reviews for The Unborn (The Mother)

This Thai ghost story is bland and uninvolving. There are no scares here, unless the Japanese version of a ghost (all white with dark hair and moves awkwardly) frightens you. The acting is so-so. Just not much here, which is not surprising considering the snippet of news it is based on.
