Pretty much exactly the same as REC but without the atmosphere and authentic-feel. It's still pretty scary, though.

Horror Wed..
Quarantine is a great zombie flick. I usually dont dig these new hand held camera flicks, but this one hit a cord...Could it be the really hot chick thats the main lead, the cool gory effects, the witty dialogue, or seeing Doug Jones in another creepy role...watch quick or you might miss him....whatever it is this "zombie" flick is worth checking out..Oh and don't cry over Willard, he finally gets his just reward:>

Fans of REC: might be disappointed. I saw this first and think both are scary as hell.

Claustrophobic and somewhat noisy American remake of the Spanish horror flick [Rec}, it has some effectively creepy and bloody sequences and is actually pretty scary at times. The acting is strong and the direction purposeful, It's a good remake that I liked better than the original that was dubbed in English, and not very well.

Not All Bad, A Bit Video-Game Gore At Times. The Found-Footage, Shakey-Camera Work, Adds A Certain Car-Accident In-Motion Flare. You'd Want To Look Away, But Like Any Rubber-Necker, It's Hard Not To Just Take A Peek. Even At Its Worst, It's Still A Pretty Good Scare.

Not bad, but not as good as the Spanish version.

Just awful... The original [REC] Was ten times better. Crappy Remake

Not just another garbage, it's one that comes woth constant shaking shooting so you don't see anything clear.

Found footage that manages to be more tense, thrilling and horrifying then anything big budget...but is that saying much when the last decent high budget horror was many years ago? still a great watch.

A scary found footage movie and setting. It probably won't be well remembered, but it is better than many others. Acting was good. My main problem with this movie was that there were few scenes that seemed foolish. Also, the ending is already spoiled for you and you'll find out why when you watch it.

A mediocre version of the French horror classic. Carpenter is decent as the lead and there is some spooky moments. But ultimately it suffers from predictable found footage cliches and cheap jump scares.

I liked it. Not a zombie flick as many may mistake and more like a "28 Days Later" type of rabies pandemic. Very claustrophobic and scary at times.

A news crew following a pair of firefighters stumbles upon an outbreak of a contagion in an apartment building. The building gets quarantined by government officials hoping to stop the spread of the mysterious contagion. Loads of bloodshed and cannibalistic violence is perpetrated by those afflicted. Is anyone going to survive? Does anyone care? Merely average.

There are alot of B horror movies out there now and they keep coming like never before. This is a US remake of the spanish flick "Rec" and i have seen that one before. This is pretty much the same , perhaps not quite as good but close. Both are just "okey" tho in my opinion but decent overall among all the other B flicks.

Intense. Thrilling. Definitely a-must-see!

Bad story, and... honestly just pointless.

An awful cliche uninspired film with some awful characters and bad acting with some awful dialogue. This is a disgrace of a horror film an atrocious mess from start to finish.
Grade D

No wonder it looks so familiar, as it was the Spanish [REC] remake. I think it had improved & polished quite a bit from the original, the protagonist (Angela) was a lot less annoying here at least.

Disappointing "found footage" horror flick about a Los Angeles apartment building under lockdown due to an unknown viral outbreak. Small details are overlooked (doesn't anyone own a radio?), and the final act is borderline incomprehensible due to poor lighting, overly shaky handheld camerawork, and nonstop hysterical screaming (courtesy of Jennifer Carpenter).
