Movie Info

Cupid's Mistake writer/director/star Young Man Kang follows up his 2002 drama Soap Girl with this genre-bending, time traveling, religious epic punctuated by intense bouts of muay Thai fighting. Consisting of three contrasting tales entitled "Eve's Secret," " Cain and Abel," and "Snake's Temptation," The Last Eve takes the viewer back through history while exposing the dark core at the center of all romance, flirting with the temptations that can consume us body and soul, and offering a surreal glimpse at the moment when innocence is lost.

Critic Reviews for The Last Eve

All Critics (1)

Filmmaker Young Man Kang has brought forth a production which is so astonishing and original than it is impossible to compare it to anything that has ever been made.

Audience Reviews for The Last Eve

The successive stories re-interpret Adam and Eve in bizarrely unsuccessful terms. Mix of Biblical allegory, Buddhist motifs, martial arts, sci-fi and sexploitation among other elements makes scant sense but does have the virtue of unique singularity.
