First thing first this film shouldn't have been made but it was good to see at least one of the original cast in it and he carries the whole film, The plot was ok but it got silly at the end and the prison they were in was supposed to be in England but you could tell it wasn't the fight scenes were ok but not as good as the first, It's not as bad as you might think but the first is better in every way.

It's important not to take this film too seriously, but it can be entertaining.

Couldn't understand most of it. The fights were well done and there is more at stake than in the first film, but t's nothing special.

This sequel is what everyone assumed the first film would be. Unabashed violent fun with not much else going on.

An awful excuse for a film. A highly recommended miss!

This movie are terrible as a sequel to the first movie which i liked alot. But for being a B movie generally its quite watchable actually. The movie takes place in a prison where members of West Ham firm and Millwal continues their fights there instead. The whole movie are more or less about that content so if you like stuff like that you may find some value in this flick in the end. But if you want a good sequel you will be disappointed for sure. A plus tho for the cool Graham McTavish and he fits perfect in the role.

Pretty fun sequel that only has one character from the previous film as its based around him. Not sure why him but obviously the actor was the only guy happy to come back for another crack with this.

Put straight this is simply an excuse for a fight every few minutes, almost every scene ends up with someone getting beaten up or guys standing off against each other menacingly. Not much plot wise happens for most of the film accept a crooked prison warden dealing drugs amongst the bad eggs, but then out of the blue near the end the film turns into 'Mean Machine' and we get a goodie prisoner v baddie prisoner footie match.

Can't really say the match looks good as you don't see much footie from the bad camera work and the fact the prisoners just fight...as usual, what a surprise huh. At the end it all wraps up nicely in a bow and really does seem rather pointless despite being an OK film for fighting.

Main issue with the film apart from the lack of proper plot is the fact it looks like the prison is in the US! prisoners wear orange jumpsuits and outside they roam around without shirts on showing their big muscles and tattoo's despite the English weather. The weather in fact appears to be very hot and sunny all the time and the prison seems to be set in a very sandy dusty almost desert like area, obviously trying for a slick desolate feel with the visuals...or something. Odd seeing as its suppose to be set in an English prison, I thought it was in the US at first and was confused.

You enjoy watching unfit middle aged blokes kicking the hell out of each other in meaningless scraps? watch on. Look out for Vernon Wells as the prison chief.

Not a hooligan movie at all, just a prison flick. The end is put together well and the characters grow on you, but most of the movie is a meandering waste.

Fantastic movie one of the best by far

These films have quite a bit of character, but sadly instead of being a movie about brotherhood and fighting, this film took an awkward turn into the sports genre.

ok movie but thought first film was better, I just thought the first Green Street was slightly better but I don't think I'll watch it again, it was directed by Jesse V. Johnson and it starred Ross McCall

Horrible, pathetic movie. At least the first one is decent.

I am trying to think what was worse, the acting or the blood work.
They would seemingly get battered, wake up an a tiny cut would appear.
A shambles!

Not the greatest movie produced ever. Doesn't have the deep emotional and anthropological viewpoint the first had. But all in all an enjoyable movie on it's own. Nothing spectacular. Just average from every aspect.
