12/02/2017 For a Hallmark movie, it was better than many. Decent story that is balanced with a good ending. Not sappy or cheesy, In the beginning, Daphne's acting was oddly weak; the angry dialogue with her "owner" needed stronger delivery...but as the film progressed, she (and the other actors) did a fine job. Direction and cinematography were generally good. Not bad for a rainy day afternoon - a pleasant western-action romantic drama. :) Side note regarding filming location: British Columbia, Canada, like most of the Pacific NW, is absolutely beautiful! See more 11/17/2013 The Hallmark family does have some nice movies in their catalogue and this one is no exception. Well written allowing the actors free movement within the characters gives a story that is easy and pleasant to follow. A simple romance for a lazy afternoon with a little action to keep the men entertained. Nibbles: Egg, Bacon and Beans.
