A stockbroker attempts to win back the heart of his former high school girlfriend, but inadvertently sabotages himself by taking the advice of a tech-savvy coworker and attempting to trace her every move. Charmless, aimless and a waste of a cast that, in other contexts, has done good work, 40 Is the New 20 is the new zero.
It starts off as a dark comedy about adult relationships and then just turns plain dark, moving from dull to creepy in a trice.
...an uneven yet intriguing piece of work that fits comfortably within Boisvert's remarkably consistent filmography...
