09/08/2022 4 stars for the first (un-edited) season - the best one. Incredible pacing, great acting, a whodunnit turned into a whydunnit. A bit problematic - were they raising awareness or just exploiting for shock factor - BUT the message came through clear. Teenagers are awful, adults lack empathy or awareness and we all have to do better. See more 08/28/2020 13 reasons why when i first started watching it i was expecting something that was addicting and dramatic and that is what i got from watching 13 reasons why and i honestly could not stop watching it when i started it was to addicting so i almost watched a full season in 2 days but then i had to stop and with it being a Brian Yorkey series it made me more excited to get back to watching it the had a bit of everything that makes things interesting i am not going to go over everything but i will go over somethings like it shows a lot of bullying and how people deal with it some people 13 reasons why kill himself which is not good and some people in 13 reasons why go around beating people up that bully them and some get there friends to beat them up and there is murder and rape and depprission and that is about it there is just one bad thing about 13 reasons why And everything almost happens at once and that ruins it sort of for me i think they should of spread out everything more like put things different seasons And i recommend this to teenagers to young adults and to people that like thrillers to drama See more 08/28/2020 I expected the film to be a great drama for people who like watching drama and I feel like it would be a sad series. I agree with the genres of the series because they definitely portrayed the genres during the series. The genres are thriller, mystery, drama, and teen drama. What happens in the film is that this girl Hannah Baker, she gets bullied very bad. She died of suicide, but before she killed herself she made 13 reasons why she killed herself. This then gets out to Tony (one of her close friends) then I think Clay gets them and then listens to everyone of them he gets revenge for Hannah on some of them. The plot does make sense. It's really easy to follow and it's believable. See more 06/19/2020 This went from a ground breaking show to being pathetically overacted and over exaggerating everything bad and more teens go thru x10. The creators of the show are definitely going out with a bang meaning allowing the show blow itself up ruining the main character Clay Jensen. See more 06/14/2020 1st season was decent. Not great but interesting and had a decent cliffhanger to get you back. But each season after gets progresively worse. I imagine Netflix was going to make a season 5 but quickly realized that there was no way to make a season worse than 4 - a season that bad would no doubt kill anyone that attempted to watch it and possibly, likely even...end humanity. See more 06/12/2020 This show is horrible. To start off the dialogue feels so unnatural it hurts. This show also seems to like to glorify very heavy and sensitive subjects.
