Movie Info

As part of the Willie Handcart Company, Levi Savage (Jasen Wade) feared that leaving late in the season would lead to despair and death. What he came to find out is that for every tragedy, there is a multitude of miracles. Based on unbelievable actual events, and brought to you by filmmaker T.C. Christensen (Praise to the Man, The Work and the Glory), 17 Miracles will open your eyes to the stories of the Mormon Pioneers as you have never seen them before. Something extraordinary is about to happen. -- (C) Official Site

Falls victim to uneven pacing and odd structure.

While the film won't likely convert the masses at large (and really doesn't aim to) it has the power to promote the faith of many a believer.

Audience Reviews for 17 Miracles

I saw so many good reviews... Overrated! This is not a great LDS Mormon movie. Very slow, quiet and boring... Story and all miracles were great, but movie showed everything very boring and not great. I think all actors are Mormons and their performances were pretty good. I heard climax is very exciting and emotional... I don't think so! But I deeply respect their accomplishment!

The movie was superb! My YM & YW watched it together. At the very end, every single one of the YW were crying and the YM were trying not to. Great movie!

Awesome Church-ish movie about the pioneers. Too many characters get lost and some poor pacing, but overall a great movie. And the little guy totally stole the show.
