First time feature filmmaker Patxi Amezcua takes the helm for this taut thriller about a car thief and an ex-boxer-turned-mob debt collector who hatch a daring plan to break free from the criminal underworld in Barcelona, Spain. Kay (Aida Folch) isn't a thief by nature, but she does what she needs to in order to survive. She lives with her father Serbas (Manuel Moron), a degenerate gambler with a predilection toward get-rich-quick schemes, and longs for the day she can move out of his filthy apartment. When Key gets caught in a tight jam, mafia heavy Abel (Francesco Garrido) lends her a helping hand. There's an instant attraction between the two desperate souls, so when Serbas hatches a plan to fleece crooked cop Garro (Joan Massotkleiner) of 300,000, Kay asks Abel to get involved in hopes that the money will give them the freedom to leave Barcelona and never look back.
