Movie Info

The biggest talents in Thai horror come together to craft a four part anthology film designed to give viewers the fright of their lives by offering an unusual twist on the familiar Asian ghost story. In the first tale, a recovering car accident victim strikes up an unusual relationship through a series of intriguing text messages. The second story involves a bullied youth who resorts to black magic in order to seek vengeance against his tormentors, and the third revolves around four friends attempting to scare each other with ghost stories while camping in the jungle. The film draws to a close with the story of an airline stewardess charged with watching over the corpse of a deceased princess as it is being shipped back to her native soil for burial. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Really enjoyed this Thai horror movie that had different stories in it. The Thai's really know how to shock and are very creative. Acting was great too.

Despite a weak 2nd segment (with laughable CG effects), it does have some nice scares and (in segment 3) some humor to liven it up. However, this is a case where the sequel outdoes the original.

Thai 4 horror short stories...all parts had fine acting and fine production values. The first one about texting on the cellphone, while somewhat predicatable, was bone chilling--- a simple story very well told and the best of the bunch. The second one about a bullied student was more gore and horror than chills, and turned into a splatterfest. The third one about the four boys camping and rafting was more comedic than scary, and also had a predictable ending. The fourth and final episode was slow to develop and more psychological driven. While original in nature with a few sudden jolts, its ending was hokey. I'd rate the first installment a solid 4 stars, but the three stories after only 2 stars.
