Mar 14, 2014 It was interesting finding out about Julian Assange and his early years. The performance by racheal griffis was sensational and Callan mcauliff as Julian Assange was a great casting choice. I could watch it again and again and so I will See more Feb 19, 2014 Interesting. Don't really know a lot about Julian or wiki leaks, so this was a good introduction to his early life. He certainly had a difficult upbringing with his mum getting them involved in a cult. Then his childhood years on the run from it. This mostly shows how he starts out as a hacker. It also shows his relationship with his then girlfriend and becoming teenage parents. See more May 26, 2013 This film explores Assange's background, motivations and first brush with the law which is great for those like myself who weren't aware of them. However, the attempt to make a thriller out of the associated police investigation or to dramatise the breakdown of his relationship with the mother of his child is rather feeble. The epilogue tells us he was a single father for 10 years following a bitter custody battle despite the film depicting him as an absent father to his newborn child as he pursues his obsession with revealing the truth.
