Julian Assange is one of the most significant figures of the twenty first century. But before he was famous, before WikiLeaks, before the internet even existed, he was a teenage computer hacker in Melbourne. This is his story.

Director Robert Connolly offers up a tinge of The Social Network's sexed-up style, but he's not fortunate enough to have been blessed with a Sorkin-grade screenplay.

Interesting. Don't really know a lot about Julian or wiki leaks, so this was a good introduction to his early life. He certainly had a difficult upbringing with his mum getting them involved in a cult. Then his childhood years on the run from it. This mostly shows how he starts out as a hacker. It also shows his relationship with his then girlfriend and becoming teenage parents. The movie ends at this period with his first arrest, so could easily make a part two to this.
