Virgins should snuggle up in plenty of fest beds, with arthouse interest a certainty in Spain-friendly territories.

While coming-of-age films are a dime a dozen, there's enough detail and pathos in 7 Virgins to make it memorable

Audience Reviews for 7 Vírgenes

7 Virgins (2005) Coming of Age Spanish film. fair. I am not sure how I ended up with this in my queue. I probably selected it just because it was Spanish language. Its not that good of a movie. Two long time friends one of whom is in juvenile prison for accidentally killing someone in a car accident. He is out for the weekend (his brother is getting married) He and these friends immediately start their old lifestyle of crime and drugs. At the end of the movie the main character Tano --Juan José Ballesta has regrets and introspection thinking ab out where this life will lead him in the future. The setting is in a beach town in the south of Spain. Running time 86 minutes. Its an ok movie but nothing to great. Somewhat Sophomoric. two stars. really deserves a rotten tomato but I will give it 60% here.
