It captures the essence of addiction to sex, drugs and dysfunctional behavior and totally avoids any "normal" social values and mores of society. The movie is touted as an "art film." However, as a psych nurse by trade, I can only see the entire storyline as a lesson in dysfunction, psychotic behavior, and addiction to sex and drugs, with a cherry on top of total regressed behaviors. Unfortunately, should you brave the entire film with some hope of a meaningful ending, don't hold your breath. The ending is just as bizarre as the beginning of the film and just as confusing. If there is any redeeming value, that would be a "soft porn" twist with slight eroticism.
