The film balances spectacular monster battles with a credible human storyline, while Godzilla appears more menacing, Anguirus is more detailed, and Ghidorah meets a surprisingly bloody end. Some creatures like Minilla, Baragon, and Varan are underused, yet the movie delivers a thrilling mix of 1960s charm and blockbuster-style action, successfully revitalizing the franchise despite its lack of true innovation. See more Justin T @RT08580778 05/17/2024 This is definitely my favourite Godzilla movie so far. There are a lot of monsters including new ones. Manda might even be my favourite! It has a more serious tone, well when compared to the previous few Godzilla movies anyway. There is some great monster melee action. The city destruction is awesome although there could have been more of it like in other cities eluded to near the start. This is what a Godzilla movie should be about, a semi-serious tone with some ludicrous moments, new monsters, lots of monster melee and plenty of city smashing.
