In an alternate reality of present-day Oakland, Calif., telemarketer Cassius Green finds himself in a macabre universe after he discovers a magical key that leads to material glory. As Green's career begins to take off, his friends and co-workers organize a protest against corporate oppression. The concept is brilliant and the characters, both benign and despicable, are a lot of fun to be around. The colour palette is lustrous, the dialogue is enthusiastically snappy, and the comedy is consistently effective.

Had to watch for a film class, worst and most disgusting movie I've seen. I never thought I'd have to complain about a film sexualizing horses. Pointless, shallow, empty, and a waste of time.

to be brief. dont bother watching this movie. it isnt good. the trailer for this movie paints it like a comedy, whereas the actual movie is more of a story about a guy who gets a job as a telemarketer and then gets good at it. there are some mildly funny things that happen but the main turn off for me is the ending. the entire movie has the vibe of unpleasantness, like something bad is going to happen but it never really does. it could be considered a dark comedy maybe? anyway, toward the end, it takes a drastic turn from largely unfunny weird movie to dystopian sci/fi revolution movie and by this point i dont even know what the plot is supposed to be anymore. it introduces enslaved horse people that used to be human into the mix and i have no idea whats going on anymore. i finished the movie out spite and i regret even doing that. its really not good/worth watching. watch something else. idk how it has good reviews.
