Sep 26, 2016 This is the modern-day "Superfly"! In other words a CLASSIC. The plot? Superb! The acting? Stellar! And the best thing? All vocalizations are done entirely in RAP! To understand the true significance of my five-star review you must understand I don't LIKE or listen to rap music! Normally I can't understand the words or in the rare case that I do? The make no sense to me! But this is an exception-a marked one! Not only I understood every word-this has never happened before- but they made perfect sense. Seriously, this is probably THE best urban movie out. The best I have seen since "The Mack"-which came out in like 1972! Absolute MUST-SEE movie!!! All I know is, I watched 10 minutes of it on cable and it makes me wish I never bought an onyx album. That way, sticky could have never made this. I've often said that State Property was the worst movie I've ever seen but I was wrong. This movie takes the cake. Everyone is either rhyming or singing their dialogue. EVERYBODY! Including Bokeem Woodbine, Michael Rapport, Faizon Love...wow. I can't say enough bad things about this movie. I know cats gotta eat but Omar Epps? Isn't he on House? I watched the first 3 minutes of bad acting, gross violence, bad special effects and decided to turn it off and sleep instead. It's to bad I'll never get those 3 minutes back.
