A film destined to be a classic. [Full Review in Spanish]

The dog star who plays Bella is irresistible , a good thing since the script she's been handed isn't worthy of her canine charm. Kids ought to like it though.

I'm easily manipulated by kids and animals in movies... I think they did some parts of the movie very well for being a cheap movie that it is.

This movie is blunt as hell -- but it's still effective.

A Dog's Way Home isn't what you'd call great cinema. But it's definitely good. And Bella is a good dog because all dogs are good dogs.

Don't be surprised if you just can't resist the transparent attempts to tug on your heartstrings, despite the fact that this is a flick which telegraphs it punches.

The plot is harebrained, but once it gets to the dog's-eye-view of a perilous journey home, it's quality comfort food.

Heartwarming, mildly funny, and occasionally thrilling without ever being anything more than just fine.

While Howard nails the right tone, there are times when Smith's camera and Shelby's face already tell us what's happening. The text that drove the book occasionally seems redundant.

You would have to have a heart of stone to not be moved by "A Dog's Way Home." [Full Review in Spanish]

A good dog movie with its heart in the right place.

Something of a mixed bag where what works (the emotional moments and, yes, the cute pup) ends up being negated by what doesn't. (Full Content Review for Parents - Peril, Scary Scenes, etc. - also Available)

Certainly manipulative but also ultimately affecting, the picture knows exactly how to wrap audiences around its furry little paw. Stone-hearted cynics need not apply.

If you are a dog --- or even a cat --- lover, you mustn't miss this movie! Just make sure you pack a few tissues.

A DOG'S WAY HOME is an entertaining story that doesn't wear out its welcome at a brisk 96 minutes --- a true family film, although it probably helps to be a dog lover.

This film may be quite a bit different than A Dog's Purpose but A Dog's Way Home still manages to find a way to tug after our hearts.

If it isn't a great artistic achievement, it is a well-crafted movie that achieves exactly what it sets out to do. If you find such material appealing, it will work.

This is a disarmingly relevant film below the surface. But to appreciate it, one must suspend disbelief.

I laughed and I cried and I said, "Aww," and that is not a bad way to begin the year.
