Courtroom films are nothing new in Hong Kong cinema and TV dramas. They were once a huge hit, but later started to feel exhausting with too many of the same genre. This film brings a fresh perspective, not purely on the courtroom itself, but on the journey and struggles of every cast member, both protagonists and antagonists. You grow to like the characters portrayed by Kwan-Ho Tse, Kai-Wa Ho, and even Michael Wong. It's a wholesome film that keeps you engaged throughout. "Today, here, everything is wrong!" is perhaps the best quote, delivering the strongest punch in the climax. We often ask ourselves whether heaven has eyes. This film reminds us that justice is worth fighting for, even when the world seems determined to prove otherwise. I fully recommend this film to you all. See more Read all reviews
