AUDIENCE SCORE

Critic Consensus: Sloppy, vulgar, and manic, A Haunted House 2 might be worth a chuckle or two, but mostly it's a string of pop culture references and crude gags that fail to hit their intended targets.

Though he's not for all tastes, there's something admirable about Wayans's willingness to do anything for a laugh, often reminiscent of Jerry Lewis at his most frantic.

A Haunted House 2 is not a movie. It is a nervous breakdown.

Marlon Wayans' parody sequel is as inept and puerile as its predecessor, but let no one say its screenwriter and star doesn't give it his all.

Calling this one an improvement is like saying that being kicked in the shin is better than being punched in the stomach. Either way, it hurts.

From Honey Boo Boo to the Kardashians, from Chris Brown to Paula Deen, from Angry Birds to "Hoarders," it spares nothing and no one.

Audience Reviews for A Haunted House 2

½

A guilty pleasure for i didn't like that this movie did not have a least a atom of seriousness to get us to laugh more so the tension from time to time could've been more serious but besides that the movie is so bad it was good, some of the jokes were good,Cedric the Entertainer was made me belly laugh and i enjoyed the conjuring references as this movie can be dumb, immoral, etc. its a good way to spend a friday night

The last film earned the number one spot on my Worst of 2013 list and A Haunted House 2 could very well take the dishonor again. If A Haunted House 3 is made, I will lose all faith in cinema.

Generically stupid, extremely immature and too unforgiven as a film is what the predecessor had problems with, and The Haunted House 2 continues to increase the unacceptable intolerance.
