Stephen Grynberg might be the Rick Santorum of filmmakers, and like Santorum, Grynberg might actually believe that how he addresses an issue is a completely fair one.

Audience Reviews for A Life Ascending

Beautiful film that portrays a different perspective of mountain guide Ruedi Beglinger and the avalanche tragedy that will mark the Selkirk Mountains forever. A MUST SEE!

Absolutely beautiful depiction of nature--gave me an appreciation for it that I did not previously have. Also shared an extremely rare--and interesting--perspective with the world: the life of a mountaineer/guide living in the remotest part of British Columbia. What a bizarre life! He has a rock climbing course built into his home for his kids to practice on...eye-opening stuff. Definitely recommend!
