01/29/2019 Wonderful and very moving story..So great to see a story with a happy ending!! Its so sad to know there are so many others that are mentally ill and arent lucky enough to have a family who loves them and never give up on them. God bless everyone in this film and everyone who watches it See more 12/31/2018 Amazingly touching. I would love to use the documentary as an educational/training film for law enforcement officers, for crisis intervention training. See more 01/10/2013 A Sister's Call is a very important film. Rebecca Shaper and her family courageously tell their story. Not only do they tell of their journey to find and help Rebecca's brother, but they also tell of other difficulties discovered during this journey. This is not the typical "we did everything right and everything went perfect" story. This family cared enough to be real. That means we can reach out to our friends and families and work through real, messy life problems. Everything won't go perfectly, but we can make a big difference in someone's life. I believe this film will change lives. See more 12/04/2012 Moving, raw, real, sad, yet heart-tugging. A Sister's Call reminded me that all families have their intricacies, and this particular family was very brave to share theirs. So nicely woven together. A must-see!
