So, I believe this is the one that I watched. I happened to watch it in English class, for what reason, I do not know. I missed the beginning though because I was absent.. But I saw like more than half of it and it was actually not that bad. I didn't know what was going on when I came into the class and began watching it and I thought it was kind of boring and the acting wasn't all that great. But after about 45 minutes or so watching it, it did in fact get more interesting. Since I missed the beginning I really didn't know who was telling the truth throughout the movie and who wasn't. The main character, Blanch, I believe her name was, was actually really pretty and you wouldn't really expect her to be "crazy" if you actually saw her which was probably the point. I thought it was pointless that she was ashamed of her age, and she never wanted to be seen in the light. Then there was that dinner she had with that one guy who's name I've forgotten. :P And she explained probably one reason she is the way she is, which I'll write here..
-So, in the movie when she's with that guy.. haha.. He begins to ask her personal questions about her age and stuff and somehow (I forgot how) they get to the topic of her love life and she explains, while crying, about when she was really young about 16 or 17 this boy was madly in love with her, he'd swim across shark infested waters just to be with her and she hadn't given him the time of day, then there was one day when she had made a complete fool out of him and after that incident he shot himself and ever since then, she's been practically crazy. She hasn't admit to it and never does.
-There is one specific scene in the movie before his dinner happens when a young man about the age of 16 comes into her house to ask her about the newspaper and she tries to lure him into the house and she ends up kissing him. The reason for her kissing him, is she's trying to relive the time when the boy who was in love with her.
-She does end up going to the crazy hospital in the end at least. :D
lalala long review :P
