David R @Davidelia 1d Hard to believe that tom beringer, a considerable talent, was in this stinker that at its core owes its failure to not just a bad script but almost certainly an unedited one. The dialogue seems like an awful cross between the second true grit, with bridges, and a film school attempt at a western. Almost none of the lines ring true and to note just one example of the lack of attention to detail, many of the actors wear brand spanking new clothing and costumes while inhabiting the 19th century west. Just really difficult to watch and listen to. Perhaps the most contrived western I’ve seen in this century. Fair to good lighting and cinematography. It’s just a waste of resources. See more Caleb S @RT21872687 07/08/2024 Star studded cast who all simultaneously manage to look bored and not even giving the minimal effort. Don't let this reflect poorly on them though as many of them have fantastic films under their belt. I would say this film suffers from lack of leadership and direction. The plot isn't bad, the dialog could use work but isn't unsalvageable. It had potential, but manages to be awful. See more Read all reviews
