Cobbling together an unfinished satire on the healthcare system and contorting it into a dopey romance, Accidental Love is a cynical repurposing of unrealized potential. Read critic reviews

Feb 13, 2016This actually starts off okay. Yes, it's hammy, but I could go with it. Right up until Alice winds up with the nail in her head, I enjoyed this. Then when the political stuff kicks in... Not so much.Nicki M Super Reviewer

Sep 25, 2015Unbelievably stupid, Accidental Love is an absurd piece of political satire. Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhaal, James Marsden, and Catherine Keener star in this ridiculous tale of a woman who seeks out her congressman in order to pass an emergency health care bill after she is impaled in the head by a nail gun and lacks the insurance needed to get the nail removed. The politics are incredibly heavy handed and undercuts the comedy. And the performances are just awful. A crazy mess, Accidental Love is a poorly made film that's over stuffed with lame characters and bad jokes.Dann M Super Reviewer

Feb 15, 2015I was not sure whether or not this was trying to be a comedy or not. Black humour with an interesting undertone about the USA legal system and healthcare.Ian W Super Reviewer

Apr 17, 2014Who knew Biel could act? Could rollerskate? And yet even a bumpkin such as I can be schooled, and so I was. Loved this bit of political satire about obtaining healthcare for everyone. I even liked Tracy Morgan. When does that happen?Kevin M. W Super Reviewer
