A little too dramatic for my taste but it was still a very enjoyable movie and i felt like i was on a rollercoaster watching tessa and hardins relationship soar and fall and then soar again
Worse romantic film I have ever watched. Totally boring throughout with no storyline.. can guess almost every line it is so predictable. You are suppost to feel sorry for a white rich girl with everything going for her and an extremely rich boy who reads classic novels, isnt even nice and says every clichè known to man. As for the misleading title 'After'.. Nothing happened before, nothing happed during and then the film ended. It was actually painful to watch
It would have been better if it was more like the book.
Just not my cup of tea...
Never really got going and ended very suddenly...
Watching this movie I was plagued by thoughts of how poorly written and awkwardly performed this was, and wondered how something this embarrassing to watch could have ended up as a movie. Then I did some research, and discovered that it's actually originally a Harry Styles fanfiction, published on WattPad and converted into an independent picture. The film glorifies cheating and controlling behaviour, it does a poor job of portraying realistic young adult relationships and experiences, and I cringed the whole way through.
I worry about the lessons this movie teaches young women about what a healthy relationship looks like. Extra negative points awarded for the fake deep love interest who swings hot and cold and lashes out violently unprovoked, supposedly redeemed by his British accent and "mysterious nature".
The plot is bad. The characters are illogical. I love romantic movies and even I thought it was such a cliche.
It's really bad I'm so disappointed :(
I wasn't expecting it to be so good. I was blown away. Beautiful and captivating.
Whith so much cliches but after that this movie catch all you attencion.
