Occasionally, a meddlesome shark pops in to pump up the action, but that doesn't occur often enough, and the meandering pace set by director Guy Ferland is a drawback.

Not bad, but fairly typical adventure story based on the Ernest Hemingway short story.

Benjamin Bratt and Armand Assante head out on the water to get away from it all. The stumble along a buried treasure.

Quite decent little thriller. Benjamin Bratt does a good job, nice location shooting, good 1930's setting. Fine cinematography, good production values, nice pacing.
