Leo Y @Charbono 1d Agent Zero (Badh in France) borrows a bit too much from the Bourne plot lines, but it is much darker, grittier, and more human. This is not a super-soldier story. It follows the lone-assassin arc, with a protagonist who feels vulnerable and human rather than nearly indestructible. There are an amazing number of plot holes, and the English dubbing is pretty poor. The story is also predictable in places, particularly if you are familiar with this genre. All that said, it kept me engaged from beginning to end, even when I could see where it was going. The grittier approach works, and there is enough here to make me want more. But I could not understand a word. The dubbing was terrible. How about spend $15/hour to hire a real audio technician?!? So it was a movie without dialog. Very hard to understand without dialog. The classic agent turned civilian turned revenge agent. But this agent is so unimaginative that it makes little sense. See more Tom W @TexOracle Jul 31 Amazon Prime Video (PV) keeps hosting some WELL GO USA films (at least) with "English" language toggle noted as "Original" language when in fact it’s dubbed in English. Some films include the option in these cases to select the real language, inaccurately not labeled as the Original language but is. This particular film is originally French language, on Amazon PV shows English as the Original language in error, but it’s dubbed in English and more importantly Amazon Prime Video version doesn’t even give the option to watch in original French audio!!! You must watch it dubbed audio. For 50 years, I refuse to watch anything with garbage dubbing. Always watch original language with actors real voices, quality acting, with English subtitles.
