Movie Info

The historic battle between the Greeks and Persians at Issus is the subject of this lavish made-for-television drama, originally intended as a series pilot. The film is particularly notable for a once-controversial orgy sequence and for the improbable casting of William Shatner as the Greek conqueror.

Audience Reviews for Alexander the Great

William Shatner and Adam West in a tv pilot about the life of Alexander the Great. How could this not be amazing! Too bad after this fell through the Shat went on to some silly scifi called Star Trek. He coulda had a career here.
