"All In Good Time", a luke warm Brit-Asian comedy about, basically, a newly-wed trying to get his end away.

It's all light-hearted and sweet, and the actors playing the young couple are probably the prettiest faces on the big screen this year; but, give or take a few humorous moments, it's all a bit one-dimensional.

It tries to explore a variety of issues such as the beauty of true love, the frustrations of marriage, and the complexity of father-son relationships; but, as I said, it's really just about a guy trying to get his end away. For the record, he does - eventually!

Really delightful. This was surely overlooked at the cinema as its a lovely little comedy drama. Great cast.

The barely-passing grade is for the performances. Otherwise, this is pretty meh, and utterly predictable.

A English Indian movie about a young couple that get married and then after their wedding they had issues consemating their relationship. Although the trailer states it to be a comedy it does make a turn for the dramatic side. Not a bad movie to show a side of a reality that people sweep under the rug. What do i reckon about this film its worth a look its got the mum from bend in like Beckham. I gotta also add the performances are surprisingly well done. Near the end of the movie when they do get together ;) well all i can say its like the super bass of a modded Car ;)

"ok." Marketed as a comedy, more of a tragedy of family politics. Bit cringey in places.

Saw Rafta Rafta at the National Theatre in London and then in New York in 2008. It was better as a stage show but it still ROCKED!

If you loved films like `East is East`, you will love this but I did not thus thought this film was below average.

Wouldn't waste money to watch it at the movies, if you want to see it wait till it comes out on DVD

A charming film and treated as a fairly light comedy drama, All in Good Time is the story of a young British Indian couple going through the adjustments of early married life under the roof of the boy's family and dealing with some of the indian cultural traditions. The film follows in the steps of East is East (same writer) or Bend it like Beckham and is directed by Nigel Cole who also directed Calendar Girls and Made in Dagenham. Although the film feels stereotyped sometimes, it weaves nicely drama and comedy, smiles, laughs and tension and is supported by very good performances from the young naive couple, Reece Ritchie and the excellent and beautiful Amara Karan. Conflicted by the respect of parents and tradition and their need for autonomy, we experience the weight of cultural traditions but also the support system of the community, and the soft and unspoken strength of women. The film has some poignant and serious moments. The characters could have been explored in more depth but has enough to be meaningful.

A poor man's East is East from the writers of East is East. Similar story line of an Indian man who has issues with his father and cannot consummate his marriage. A few funny but predictable lines. It's time Indian cinema offered us a different comedy.

Would recommend to everyone who are getting married soon...

A good drama film, which tells the story of a relationship, whilst having some comedy to it. The performances are strong, especially from Patel and Syal, and there are plenty of laughs. Worth a watch!

Ultimately a feel good movie, sad at times but definitely worth a watch!
